Loving and energetic nanny needed for 1 year old in Haslet, Benbrook (76052)
About our family:
We are a family of 3 (mom, dad and now 10 month old daughter) and a sweet large dog living in Haslet currently, with plans to move to Benbrook soon.
Mom works from home part-time as a special education teacher, and dad works outside of the home in finance. We have a playful, gentle and intentional approach to raising our daughter.
We enjoy spending time together as a family, we limit screen time, and we focus on learning through play-based, age-appropriate activities with an emphasis on time outside and reading.
We are looking for someone who can encourage and engage with our daughter as well as lovingly help her meet her developmental milestones as she grows into an active toddler.

Start date: Aug 11, 2025
Part time, live-out nanny (25 hours per week, flexible to offer more hours if needed), potential for full-time as our family grows
Monday - Friday, 8am - 1pm
$20/hr
2 weeks paid time off
3 sick days
Some paid holidays
Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld (W2 pay)
Experience & Education Requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification
2 years relevant experience, either as a parent, nanny, summer / short-term nanny, babysitter, or childcare facility
Prefer some college
Must be up to date on vaccinations
Licensed and insured driver
Conversational English (can be first or second language)
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day basic care of our daughter (diapering, feeding, etc.)
Sticking to a general sleep routine but being flexible according to our daughter’s needs
General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning
Lots of reading, play and outdoor time
Outings to the zoo, museum, library, etc.
Child’s laundry, once a week, including putting away
Child’s meal prep (lunch, snack)
Tidying up of common and play areas, including living room, kitchen, nursery and play rooms
About you:
You have experience with toddlers and their ever-changing needs and schedules.
You’re calm but energetic, playful, patient and loving. You enjoy being a partner to parents and can receive feedback and direction well, and you can take charge as needed.
Our daughter gravitates towards caregivers who have a calm and engaging personality.
You are able to create a safe space for our daughter to explore her surroundings, giving her space to learn and be independent in a safe way.
