How We Support You
When you’re placed with a family, we provide ongoing support through regular check-ins with you and your family, and provide tools for having performance check-ins and goal-setting conversations. You’ll also be subscribed to our newsletter, which shares activity ideas and teaching tools.

No. We do not require any payment from nannies to apply with our agency. In fact, all costs associated with being placed with a family are covered by The First Milestones, including getting or renewing First Aid and CPR certification. We also offer training or refresher courses if you need to brush up on any skills before you start with a family.

We advocate for fair and legal pay.
When you join our talent pool we create a detailed nanny profile and match you with families whose needs, schedule, and caregiving style align with yours.
We do not work with families that we do not feel will be a good fit for our agency. We will never knowingly place you with a family that does not treat their employees with respect.
If placed, you get ongoing support: after-match check-ins, guidance for communication/expectations, and access to resources for professional growth.

If the interview goes well and both you and the family agree, we’ll help coordinate background checks and begin placement logistics.

You will have access to our resources, including newsletters with activity ideas, teaching tools, and guidance for maintaining a healthy caregiver-family relationship.

Yes. We run background checks on candidates and a comprehensive background check before placement.
We also ask for references and information about experience, training, certifications, and prior childcare history.

We place a variety of nannies from long-term full-time positions, to summer or night nannies.
When you apply, you can indicate your availability, preferred schedule, and what kinds of jobs you're open to.
