Kaylie’s Story
I’m a wife, mama of five beautiful children, and certified birth doula with a heart for supporting mothers and families through one of life’s most powerful and transformative experiences.

My passion for birth began long before I had children of my own, but becoming a mother gave me a deeper understanding of the strength, beauty, and vulnerability that come with the birth journey. After experiencing my own births in different hospital settings and navigating a variety of protocols, I felt called to become a gentle voice, advocate, and steady source of support for other families.
That calling first took shape over ten years ago during our time in the military, when I walked alongside mothers who were far from family, single mothers, and women who simply needed extra care and encouragement. What began as a desire to help women feel supported and empowered during birth grew into a passion I knew I was meant to pursue.
As my children have grown, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to fully step into this work as a certified doula. During my training, I had the honor of supporting two successful VBAC births, which deepened my passion for providing education, encouragement, and compassionate care.
To me, being a doula is about more than attending a birth. It is about walking alongside families before, during, and after their baby’s arrival with a steady presence, a listening ear, and support tailored to their unique needs.
Connection means everything to me. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where mothers feel comfortable, confident, deeply cared for, and fully supported in body, mind, and spirit.

Supporting a family looks different for every person, and my goal is to help you feel supported, heard, truly loved, and confident throughout your journey. I’m here to help you understand your options, prepare for your birth, and work toward the birth experience you desire—whatever that may look like for you. I also love helping your partner feel confident and equipped with ways to support and encourage you throughout the process. Each of my families holds such a special place in my heart. It is an honor to walk alongside you as we navigate this incredible journey together, and to witness the beautiful moment you meet your sweet baby for the very first time.
What is one misconception about doulas you wish more people understood?
Many people wonder whether a doula is really necessary and, while I may be a little biased, I truly believe in the value of the support we provide. A doula is there for you from start to finish — offering encouragement, comfort, education, and support throughout your entire birth journey. Whether you are planning a natural birth, a medicated birth, or something in between, my role is to support you, your choices, and your unique birth experience. Every birth looks different, and you deserve to feel cared for, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
Favorite birth moment:
My absolute favorite part of every birth is witnessing the beautiful teamwork between a mother and her support team as she moves through each challenge of labor. Those moments when she feels like she may not be able to continue, and her team surrounds her with encouragement, love, and strength, are truly incredible to witness. Being able to walk alongside her as she reaches the moment of meeting the baby God has entrusted her to bring into this world is such an honor. Watching her take in every tiny detail of her sweet baby, and seeing her and her partner spend those first precious hours together in complete awe and amazement.
