Hi, I’m Mallory.
I’m a compassionate birth and postpartum doula in DFW. My doula superpower is my keen ability to not only hold space for all that the birthing experience brings, but to also carefully anticipate needs and carry them out while working as a team with the family.
Mallory’s Story
As a Texas native and mother of a beautiful daughter, I bring over 15 years of experience and understanding of both the practical and emotional needs that come with the birth and postpartum journey. My approach is warm, knowledgeable, and grounded in real life experience, helping families feel confident, supported and cared for during pregnancy, birth and in the early days of parenthood.
My doula superpower is my keen ability to not only hold space for all that the birthing experience brings, but to also carefully anticipate needs and carry them out while working as a team with the family. My favorite thing about being a doula is collaborating with families on care that meets their unique needs. When I’m not working, I love to read, swim and travel with my family. I look forward to meeting you and your family. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me!
Services I offer:
I offer compassionate and supportive birth and postpartum doula care.
My approach to supporting families:
I approach serving families by meeting them where they are, actively listening to their needs and tailoring my support to each family’s unique journey.
What is one misconception about doulas you wish more people understood?
Doulas are not there to judge or criticize your experience with birth and postpartum. They are there to provide comfort, knowledge and support during this new and different time.
Favorite birth moment:
I had a sweet family who was just exhausted because their little one was not sleeping more than about an hour at a time at night. I was able to assist with latch and teach them cues for when baby had a nutritive feed. We then worked on sleep learning and by eight weeks old baby boy was sleeping 10+ hours at night! It was such a joy to leave them with tips and tools to help them all get the rest they needed!
