Warm, energetic full-time nanny for toddler in West Fort Worth
About our family:
We are loving, patient, first-time parents who feel incredibly grateful to have our son after a long journey to parenthood. We are older parents and tend to be more hands-on, thoughtful, and cautious than most, creating a home environment that is warm, happy, clean, organized, and highly schedule-oriented. We truly love being parents and enjoy having our son at home where we can occasionally see him throughout the day.
We live in a safe neighborhood in West Fort Worth, in the Montserrat area, with many walkable places nearby. Our home is very clean, fragrance-free, and calm, and we are looking for a nanny who will feel comfortable in and contribute positively to that environment.
Work details:
Start date: Flexible, ideally around August 1, 2026
Full-time live-out nanny
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm, also flexible to 8am - 3pm or other consistent daily schedule
$28/hour
Guaranteed weekly pay
Paid holidays
Paid time off, including vacation and sick days
Paid legally through payroll with taxes withheld (W2)
Dad works outside of the home most days and Mom runs her own business and often works early mornings, late evenings, and attends meetings during the day. There are also days and weeks when Mom works from home throughout the day. While we may be present in the home, we make every effort to give our nanny space to do their job.
Experience & requirements:
Toddler experience required
Strong swimmer strongly preferred
Light housekeeping related to the child required
Must be highly engaging, energetic, and attentive
Must be comfortable in a fragrance-free home (no perfume or strong scents)
Must be able to follow instructions well and work collaboratively with involved parents
Must be creative and confident keeping a toddler engaged without screen time
Driving is not currently a regular part of the role, as we are somewhat cautious and do not drive our son around often. Over time, that may evolve. We would also be open to handling drop-off ourselves if needed.
At this time, we are not open to a nanny bringing their child to work.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive, fully engaged care for our son throughout the workday
Supporting well-rounded, age-appropriate development through play, interaction, and routine
Creating a nurturing, structured environment where he can thrive
Planning and leading developmentally appropriate activities that keep him engaged and entertained
Taking him on walks and neighborhood outings as appropriate
Supporting child-related household tasks, including:
Child’s laundry
Meal prep for our son
Cleaning up after meals and activities
Packing and preparing for outings or trips
Maintaining tidiness in areas related to his care

You are warm, dependable, energetic, and genuinely enjoy caring for toddlers. You have the creativity and stamina to keep up with a little boy who is becoming more active every day, and you are comfortable being fully present and focused on him throughout your time in our home. You are nurturing, organized, easy to work with, and able to follow direction well. You appreciate structure, respect a schedule, and are comfortable working with loving, involved parents in a calm, very clean household. We can’t wait to meet you!
