Engaged, active and friendly part-time nanny needed for a loving and warm family in Fort Worth
About our family:
We are a laid back, active and loving family of 4 - Mom, Dad, 3.5 y/o boy and 20 m/o girl - living in Fort Worth (76107).
Work details:
Start date: ASAP
Part-time live-out nanny, Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday: 2:00pm-6:00pm
Position begins in August
Paid vacation, sick days, & major holidays
Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld (W2)
$25/hr
Experience & Education Requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification
3+ years relevant experience, either as a nanny or in a childcare facility
Prefer some college
Licensed and insured driver
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Conversational English (can be first or second language)
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day basic care of our youngest (diapering, feeding, etc.). She does not have any special needs, allergies, or major medical conditions. She has an egg and peanut allergy. Care for our son when he is not at Summer camp. He does not have any special needs or major medical conditions. He has an egg allergy.
Establishing and maintaining good sleep/eat/play routines
General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning
Lots of reading, active play, and outdoor time
Support with light tidying related to the children and shared spaces (toys, bottles, play areas) before leaving - no heavy cleaning required
About you:
You’re warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy engaging with children. You have experience caring for toddlers and navigating their transitions. You can keep children engaged without screens, and you’re willing to get down on their level to play. You’re energetic and enjoy playing with the children.
