Part-Time Nanny Needed for Family in Carrollton (75010)
Reliable, patient, and nurturing part-time nanny and family assistant needed for a family in Carrollton
About our family:
We are a family of 4 (5 year old girl, 3 year old boy) + our small dog, Graham. We’re an active, loving household that values warmth, dependability, and growth. Both parents work full-time in demanding roles that can involve late meetings or last-minute schedule changes. We’re looking for a nanny and family assistant who can bring stability, kindness, and energy to our children’s afternoons and evenings — and who will truly become part of our family for years to come.

Responsibilities:
Pick up kids from their extended day program (eventually from school at 3 PM).
On occasions when school is closed for a holiday but parents have to work, ideally our nanny is available to provide coverage during the day
Supervise after-school play and guide creative and educational activities.
Support early learning: reading, writing, counting, and basic math skills.
Help with nightly routines: dinner prep, baths, and bedtime prep.
Make lunches and snacks for the next day.
Light laundry, tidying kids’ areas, and kitchen cleanup.
Care for Graham (our small dog) as needed.
Occasionally assist on weekends for date nights or special events.
What a typical day might look like:
After you pick up the kids from school, you’ll help them get settled at home with snacks and some activities that help them expend some creative and/or physical energy. There might be a little reading, a craft, and some outdoor time.
One day, you might do more family support work while the parents spend time with the kids. Another day, you might spend more time with the kids while the parents finish up some work at home.
Helping with light household tasks looks like light laundry and tidying up before prepping dinner and packing lunch and snacks for the kids.
Once the kids are fed, you might help with kitchen cleanup or help with getting the kids ready for bed.
About you:
You’re calm, dependable, and kind — a role model who can nurture, teach, and bring joy into our kids’ daily routines. You are passionate about working with our kids and supporting our family in a way that allows us to show up as loving and present parents. We would love to partner with you, learning how to work together and creating an easy environment for us to give and receive feedback. You’re able to adjust your priorities based on how our day looks and where we need the most support.
We hope to have a lasting relationship with our nanny, and we can’t wait to meet you.
