About our family:
We are an energetic, active and loving family of 4 - Mom, Dad, 23 m/o girl and 11 m/o girl - living in Walsh Ranch (76008). We are faith and family-oriented.
Our oldest daughter has had a challenging medical year but is recovering well and blossoming into a lovely, bright, creative toddler who loves being with her family. She will not require specialized care from our nanny. Our youngest is quickly becoming an active toddler and enjoys playing with her big sister.
Now that dad is returning to work, we’re looking for a loving, warm and patient nanny/mom’s helper who can be an extra set of hands who can focus on our youngest daughter.
This role is a hybrid nanny / mom’s helper position, with primary responsibility for our youngest daughter while also working collaboratively alongside mom during the day.

Full-time live-out nanny, Monday - Thursday
We are seeking a consistent 4-day schedule (Monday–Thursday), totaling 40 guaranteed hours per week. Work schedule will fall between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with the exact daily schedule agreed upon in advance and kept consistent week to week. A schedule that accommodates later evenings to support bedtime routines are a bonus, but not required.
Guaranteed weekly pay at 40 hours per week, or for an agreed-upon schedule
2 weeks paid vacation, 3 sick days, paid major holidays
Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld (W2)
$28/hr
Experience & Education Requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification
3+ years relevant experience, either as a parent, nanny, or in a childcare facility
Prefer some college
Licensed and insured driver
Must have reliable transportation to and from work, but you will not need to drive the kids as outings will be with mom
Conversational English (can be first or second language)
Montessori experience is a bonus, but not required
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day basic care of our youngest (diapering, feeding, etc.). She does not have any special needs, allergies, or major medical conditions.
Establishing and maintaining good sleep/eat/play routines
General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning
Lots of reading, active play, and outdoor time
Outings with mom and both girls
Support with light tidying related to the children and shared spaces (toys, bottles, play areas) before leaving - no heavy cleaning required
Meal prep for the family is a big bonus!
About you:
You’re warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy engaging with infants through nurturing care and intentional time together. You have experience caring for infants and toddlers and navigating their transitions. You can keep children engaged without screens, and you’re willing to get down on their level to play.
You’re comfortable working alongside mom for a majority of your day and going on outings together with mom and the girls. (This role is not a good fit for someone who prefers to work independently and is not comfortable working collaboratively with mom.)
