Experienced newborn nanny needed for a loving Fort Worth family
About our family:
We are a loving, close-knit family of four with two sweet boys: our youngest who is currently 1 month old, and our first who is 1½ years old. Mom stays home with the children, while Dad frequently travels for work projects, so we are looking for an experienced nanny who can provide an extra set of hands and become a trusted part of our family.
Our primary need is support with our newborn. He is currently in the newborn stage, so his days revolve around feeding, sleeping, diaper changes, and lots of nurturing care. We are especially looking for someone who has strong newborn experience and feels confident caring for a young infant.
Our toddler has a wonderful temperament and loves staying busy. He enjoys being outside, playing in the yard, spending time around our dogs, and meeting new people.
We also have two sweet dogs. Candidates should be comfortable working in a home with pets.

Full-time, live-out nanny position
Schedule: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday (flexible as long as 40 hours per week)
Family is seeking flexibility based on Dad’s work travel and Mom’s need for support at home
Guaranteed weekly pay
Hourly rate: $26/hr

Nanny must be comfortable with dogs
This position is not open to candidates who need to bring their own child to work
Experience & Education Requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification
Strong professional newborn and infant care experience
Experience confidently caring for babies during the first few months of life
Experience with toddlers is strongly preferred
Knowledge of age-appropriate infant feeding, sleep, developmental milestones, and safe sleep practices
Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home parent
Licensed and insured driver
Reliable transportation to and from work
Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive, nurturing care for newborn
Supporting feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, and sleep routines
Following safe sleep practices and helping establish consistent newborn routines
Engaging our newborn in developmentally appropriate interaction, including tummy time, talking, music, and sensory play as he grows
Washing and preparing bottles and keeping feeding supplies organized
Keeping nursery, bottle, and baby-related areas tidy
Helping Mom manage the needs of two young children throughout the day
Providing care and supervision for our toddler as needed
Engaging our toddler in age-appropriate play, particularly outdoor activities and active play
Assisting with simple meals or snacks for the children as needed
Helping maintain a calm, organized environment for the children
Communicating openly with Mom regarding the children’s routines, feeding, sleep, and activities
About you:
You are warm, calm, and confident with newborns and genuinely enjoy caring for babies during their earliest months. You understand that newborn care requires patience, attentiveness, and flexibility, and you are comfortable supporting feeding and sleep routines while responding to a baby's changing needs.
You are also comfortable being an extra set of hands for a stay-at-home mom caring for two young children. You know when to step in, take initiative, and help without needing constant direction, while also respecting the family's routines and preferences.
You enjoy engaging with toddlers and are happy spending time outside, playing, reading, and keeping little ones active. You are comfortable around dogs and enjoy being part of an active family home.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone dependable, loving, and experienced who can provide Mom with meaningful support while Dad is away for work and become a trusted part of this family's daily life.
