Loving, experienced and active nanny needed for Fort Worth Family

About our family:

We are an active, hardworking and loving family with a two year old daughter, Charlotte, and a newborn daughter, Alice, who was born in May. With no family nearby, we are looking for a loving caregiver who can become a trusted extension of our family.

Both parents have highly demanding jobs, but we try to be present for our daughters when our workdays are over. Mom works in a separate space at home three days a week, and travels to Dallas for the other two. Dad works outside of the home.

Charlotte is a sweet and curious two year old. She wants to see everything and try everything! Her favorite activity is music, and we’ve attended TCU’s music classes every semester since she was six weeks old. Charlotte recently attended dance camp, and loved her experience.

Alice is a happy nine week old baby. Like her big sister, Alice loves music and often “sings” along to her favorite songs. She enjoys “talking” to mom and dad, story time, and lots of cuddles.

In our free time, we enjoy being outdoors and spending time together as a family. We have one dog (beagle) and one cat.

Position details:

Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 12pm

$25/hr with guaranteed pay for 40 hours

2 weeks paid vacation, 4 sick days, some paid holidays

Paid by payroll with taxes withheld

Requirements:

First Aid and CPR certified, agency can provide training at no cost to nanny

3+ years experience paid childcare experience in a private or daycare setting

Infant experience

Valid drivers license + reliable transportation for outings

Must be ok with pets (we have one dog, one cat)

About you:

You can get on the floor and play age-appropriate games with our girls. You understand and know how to interact and engage with infants and toddlers. You enjoy being active and outdoors and can come up with activities to engage our daughters without screens. You are open to outings.

You’re open to feedback and communicate easily. Because we are a straightforward and open family, we appreciate being able to communicate successes and challenges with you. We hope you’ll become an extension of our family while maintaining a professional relationship. Ideally, you’ll be open to staying with our family for many years as our family grows.
