Gentle, experienced and mature part-time nanny needed for an infant in Fort Worth, 76131
About our family:
We are a family of 3 (mom, dad and 2 month old son) living in North Fort Worth, near Blue Mound.
Dad works from home and mom works in medicine outside of the home. We have a gentle approach to raising our son and hope to find someone who can nurture and love him as we do, who can help us establish a healthy eat, sleep, play routine and who enjoys taking him outside for walks and play.
Work details:
- Part time, live-out nanny (28.5 hours per week) 
- Monday: 9am - 5:30pm 
- Tuesday: 9am - 5pm 
- Wed - Fri: 9am - 1pm 
- $22/hr 
- 1 week paid time off 
- Paid major holidays 
- Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld (W2 pay) 
Experience & Education Requirements:
- First Aid / CPR certification 
- 5+ years relevant experience, either as a parent, nanny, summer / short-term nanny, babysitter, or childcare facility 
- Must be up to date with flu, TDAP vaccinations 
- Licensed and insured driver 
- Conversational English (can be first or second language) 
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day basic care of our son (diapering, feeding, etc.) He struggles with reflux, which is usually resolved by keeping him upright after feeding 
- General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning 
- Lots of reading, play and outdoor time 
- Outings limited to walks until our son is a little bit older 
- Child’s bottle prep and clean-up 
- Tidying up of areas where you spend time with our son after the day is done 
About You:
You’re experienced with infants and have several years of nannying experience or are a parent yourself. You’re attentive to our son, and you are mindful about hygiene when you provide care, making sure to wash your hands and maintaining a clean environment. You’re loving, gentle, patient and are open to partnering with our family to help us establish eat/sleep/play routines and can help us navigate the changes that come as our son grows.
