Daggett Park

Daggett Park is a great go-to spot for families, with shaded slides, open space, and plenty of ways for kids to play and stay active!

Daggett Park sits right next to E.M. Daggett Elementary, so it's an easy stop after class or on a weekend morning!

What we appreciate most is the shade over the slides. During peak summer, that's not a small thing. A slide baking in direct sun in July can get uncomfortably hot, so having shade there makes it actually usable even when the heat is at its worst!

There's more to keep kids busy beyond the playground too. A basketball court is there for older kids, along with a baseball and softball field for pickup games. A walking loop surrounds the green space next to the playground. There's even a fitness station if the grown ups want to sneak in a workout, and benches scattered around for easy watching while the kids play.

The park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.  It's simple, it's classic, and it's easy to make part of a regular routine.
