Fire Station Park

A fun neighborhood spot where kids can play, ride, and explore a little piece of local history!

Fire Station Community Center Park has become one of our go to spots when we want something close to home! It's smaller than other parks but there's still plenty to keep the kids busy for an afternoon.

The playground is always their first stop, especially the stand alone swing set. There's also a basketball court and a tennis court for older kids who want to run around more.

Adjacent to the playground and next to the community center is a skate park, which offers a safe space for kids to ride their bikes, scooters or skateboards. It’s a great spot to ride without having to worry about traffic.

If you have kids that love fun facts and history, the history of this park is a fun bonus too! This used to be an actual fire station, built back in 1923, before it became a community center in the late 1970s. We like telling the kids they're playing where fire trucks used to park. 

When it's time to slow down, there are benches and a shelter for shade, along with tables for snacks or a quick picnic. 

Parking is close by, so getting in and out with kids is easy.
