About our family:
We are a family of 3 (mom, dad, and newborn son) + our dog, Cooper and cat, Eloise. We’re two working parents welcoming our first child and looking for an experienced nanny to support his early growth and development. Mom is a child psychologist and Dad is a family medicine/OB physician. We value warmth, reliability, kindness, and a nurturing environment where our son can learn and thrive.

Start date: January 13, 2026
Full-time live-out nanny, Monday - Friday 7:50am - 5:30pm
$26.50/hr
Guaranteed weekly pay at 35 hours per week, plus overtime pay (with most weeks being 40+ hours)
2 weeks paid vacation (one week to preferably be coordinated with family’s vacation due to parents’ occupations), 3 sick days, paid major holidays
Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld (W2)
Experience & Education Requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification
2-3 years relevant experience, either as a parent, nanny, summer / short-term nanny, babysitter, or childcare facility
Prefer someone who is bilingual (Spanish or ASL)
Prefer some college
Licensed and insured driver
Must have a reliable vehicle
Conversational English (can be first or second language)
Must be up to date on vaccinations (TDAP, annual flu)
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day basic care of our son (diapering, feeding, etc.). He does not have any special needs, allergies, or major medical conditions.
Establishing good sleep/eat/play routines
General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning
Lots of reading, play, and outdoor time
Outings as baby gets older
Child’s laundry, one-to-two times per week (including putting away)
Child’s bottle and meal prep
Light household tasks such as baby laundry, washing bottles/dishes, loading/unloading dishwasher, and occasional light tidying (sweeping/vacuuming, wiping counters)
About you:
You’re warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy engaging with infants through nurturing care and intentional teaching. You have experience caring for newborns and young children. You have a great balance between gentle structure and going with the flow. You are comfortable with pets. Bonus points if you are bilingual (especially Spanish) or can incorporate baby sign language into daily interactions.
