Loving, reliable, and organized part-time nanny needed for infant

About our family:
We are an active, community-involved, welcoming, loving, and responsible family seeking a nanny who will become a trusted part of our home. We are looking for someone to grow with our family and provide loving, attentive care for our child during this important early stage.

Dad works from home on Fridays. Mom expects to work from home occasionally once she restarts her catering business, likely in the summer.

Work details:

  • Start date: ASAP

  • Part-time live-out nanny (20-30 hours per week)

  • Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 2:00pm, Friday 10:00am – 3:00pm, occasional Saturday evenings 5:00pm – 10:00pm, as needed

  • $30/hr

  • Guaranteed weekly pay for agreed-upon schedule

  • Paid major holidays

  • 10 days PTO

  • W2 pay

  • At this time, we are not open to a nanny bringing their child to work.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Infant experience required

  • Sleep training experience preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience caring for babies under 1 year old

  • Must be comfortable with pets

  • Must be willing to provide transportation for regular outings with children when the get older

  • Cooking experience or interest preferred

  • Prefer someone who is willing to travel with the family and occasionally help on weekends and evenings when needed

Responsibilities:

  • Attentive day-to-day care for our infant

  • Engaging baby during playtime and tummy time

  • Supporting developmental milestones as our child grows, with guidance from parents

  • Helping keep the nursery tidy

  • Making the bed

  • Helping with laundry (no ironing required)

  • Loading and unloading the dishwasher

  • Taking out the trash and setting out bins

  • Bringing in the mail

  • Unloading groceries

  • Helping with meal prep

  • Watering indoor plants

  • Helping with dog care, including feeding and walking

About you:
 You love babies and children and are excited about the opportunity to grow with a family over time. You are loving, reliable, organized, and proactive. You are comfortable caring for infants, supporting developmental progress, and helping keep a home running smoothly. You are also comfortable with dogs and willing to pitch in where needed, including occasional travel, weekend support, and evening help.
