Caring, Responsible Part-Time Family Assistant and Nanny for Family near TCU

About our family:

We are a family of two (mom and 3 y/o son) moving to Fort Worth from Alaska so that mom can complete a graduate program at TCU. We are loving, gentle, resilient. We are taking a big leap by moving so far away from everything and everyone we know and, although we are excited for this big adventure, we hope to find someone who can make this big transition a little easier.

  • Strong preference for bilingual (Spanish/English), but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Morning support, including getting my son ready for school, packing a nutritious and nut free lunch, and dropping him off at school by 9am

  • School pickup (optional, depending on your preferred schedule) and childcare from 6pm - 8pm

  • Engaging and playing with my son for a few hours on Saturdays. Can be every Saturday if you’re available.

About you:

You have a genuine love for engaging with children and encouraging them to learn about the world around them. You have at least a few years of paid caregiving experience and are knowledgeable and equipped to handle the ups and down and big feelings that come with being a 3 year old in a big world.

You’re gentle, loving, and curious. You enjoy the outdoors, nature, quiet exploration, building forts, and creative play. Bonus points if you are bilingual (Spanish) and are familiar with a Montessori approach.

We can’t wait to meet you!
